If you are currently using chemical treatment but not achieving the results you need, we invite you to consult with us. We will help you find a solution using our proprietary chemical product, the ALSi Floc N100 Series
The ALSi Floc N100 Series
The ALSi Floc N100 Series is a water treatment chemical independently developed by Japan ALSi Co., Ltd., a water treatment manufacturer specializing in biological treatment. "ALSi Floc N100 series".
This product is designed to efficiently remove substances that are difficult to break down through biological treatment alone, while having no adverse effect on microbiological processes. It serves as a pre-treatment chemical and is formulated as a highly safe coagulant with no biological toxicity.
Compared to conventional inorganic coagulants, the ALSi Floc N100 Series delivers superior performance at lower dosage levels. Because it does not cause significant pH fluctuation in wastewater, the need for large quantities of neutralizing agents is eliminated — helping to keep the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in treated water at low levels.
Furthermore, the product itself does not become a solid mass that contributes to sludge accumulation. By selectively coagulating only the contaminants present in the wastewater, it minimizes the generation of sludge (waste byproduct) resulting from the treatment process.
Ex.1 Wastewater from water‑soluble cutting oil (automotive parts manufacturer)
Left: Wastewater before treatment
Center: Result using a typical coagulant
→ A large amount of sludge is generated
Right: Result using the ALSi coagulant → High clarity with little sludge
Ex.2 Paint wastewater (automobile factory)
Left: Wastewater before treatment
Center: Result using a conventional coagulant → A large amount of sludge is generated
Right: Result using the ALSi coagulant → High clarity with little sludge
Comparison between the ALSi Floc N100 series and conventional coagulants
| ALSi Floc N100 series | Inorganic coagulants | |
|---|---|---|
| Composition | Special cationic and anionic polymers |
FeCl₂, FeCl₃, FeSO₄, AlCl₃, polyferric sulfate, PAC, Ca(OH)₂ |
| pH | No pH adjustment required | Requires pH adjustment (as pH levels drop) |
| Dosage | Effective at low doses (several hundred ppm) | Requires large doses (several hundreds to tens of thousands of ppm) |
| Floc weight | Forms light flocs; suitable for Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems | Forms heavy flocs; suitable for sedimentation tanks |
| Sludge generation | Minimal sludge; generates no solids from the chemical itself. | High sludge; forms hydroxide precipitates that add to waste volume. |
